I found about Velomtek online after reading about Velomobiles made in Europe.
HOW DO YOU USE YOUR VT1?
I wanted a Velomobile that combined pedal power with electric power. I use the electric mode when I need to get through an intersection quickly on a busy street. I currently am using the VT1 at night to cycle to the grocery store, but have driven it to work once. It is toasty inside despite winter weather.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE VT1 PRICE?
The price of the VT1 compared to European Velomobiles is most reasonable, particularly since most of the European models do not come with electric assist. I could not find anything close to this vehicle being made in the US.
HOW WAS THE ORDERING TO DELIVERY PROCESS INCLUDING LOGISTICS TO BRING YOUR VELOMOBILE AT HOME?
Ordering to picking up the Velomobile was easy and pure pleasure as Francois walked me through every step including importing the vehicle with an Ace Manifest to cross the border.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY TO POTENTIAL VT1 OWNERS?
For future owners, this is just pure fun to drive. I can’t not get the smile off of my face when I drive it, no matter if it is cold and raining out, at night or daytime with clear skies. It is easy to pedal and steer, lights up the night quite well, loud horn, brilliant turn signals, brake lamp and headlights. I enjoy grocery shopping with this, carrying my work computer knowing I am dry and safe driving my Yellow Sunflower, the name my wife has christened the VT1 with. I look forward to many adventures this winter and next year traveling short and long rides!
